Utility Requirements

The standard units are equipped with a 10 kva transformer and a 30 ampfused disconnect with 30 amp fuses, the units should be supplied with 460v 1PHthrough a 30 amp buss plug with 30 amp fuses.

A ¾”-1-1/2” potable water drop is also required. The unit is equipped with abackflow preventer and a 12-gallon electric water heater.

The units have a 1 ½” vent that needs to be piped to the truss or outside theplant. (Plant specifications determine the termination point of the vent)

Units will have a 2” galvanized waste discharge line that needs to beterminated into a process or sanitary waste line.

Dimensions

4’wide by 4’deep without a mop sink, eyewash, or drench shower. Add approximately 2’ to the width for adding a mop sink and an additional 2’ to the widthif an eye wash and drench shower are required. The units are approximately 6’6” –7’6” high depending on options. Allow 2’ from the back of the unit for service of theunit.

General Information

The standard units are made of 14 gauge 304SS or 201SS panels that arefastened together to form the unit. The stainless steel panels are laser cut, formed,and all edges ground smooth.

The units are complete with a stainless steel vented sump tank withsump pump, backflow preventer, stack light, incoming water shutoff during highsump level, 12-gallon electric water heater, and GFI protected circuits. The unitsare pre-piped and pre-wired. Drinking fountains, eye wash stations, and drenchshowers, along with other customer requested options are available.
